That first one is especially gorgeous … and I really like how you can get relatively small single objects (sorry Mr Crow) to work with such large backgrounds! If I ever try that it ends up looking wrong.
Beautiful photos. The blue of the sky is the first time we have seen this. The crow reflected, and the sky/ground were the sky appears to be a reflection on a very wet landscape. They all work so beautifully and each for it’s own unique qualities. π
WoW! Congrats on these amazing shots =)
Ana, thank you.
I really like water – sky photos. My favorite here is the last one. so much quiet energy.
I like the way you describe it, quiet energy, it was like that. Thank you Barbara.
That last one is simply amazing … the sky and ground look amazing… and the one with the bird is also fantastic π
Filipe, thank you so much. π
More nice photos. Thanks. Poor Mr. Crow is not going to find much to eat out there unless the ice-fishermen have left him something.
Yes, not much out there in the way of food at the moment!
Love your capture of the little bird’s reflection. π
Thank you!
Hello, crow! (Love love love that.) (Worried about that guy’s feet getting cold.)
I know, it must be cold on their little crow feet. They are hardy though, the crows stay here all winter!
Marvelous
π
Beautiful !
I like those suppressed, meditative color.
A crow and the vast space left, is like a Zen drawing.
Thank you Yoshizen, I like when you find Zen in my images. π
These are beautiful, beautiful photos. The subtle transitions in the second one invite comparisons with techniques used by watercolourists.
Louis, thank you. I suppose they literally are water colours of a sort…
Well, I can’t really add much to what’s already said here. A beautiful series, with my personal favorite being the third one.
Thank you.
NIce pics. I also love water and sky landscapes. So peaceful and tranquil.
Dori, thank you very much.

Thanks.
Love these transitions in blue posts. They are just gorgeous!

What timing to capture the crow on the ice! Great juxtaposition. This whole series is beautiful; each image has something unique about it!
Thank you Marina. The crow was kind of hanging around looking for a photo op I think! π
These are beautiful…thank you for presenting my favorite color!
Oh you are welcome! Thank you.
You can see, and feel, the subtle energy of nature doing it’s thing. Love ’em, Karen!
Thanks Steve!
Stunning karen, absolutely stunning. Perfect balance between sky and sea. Very nice of the bird to pose for you π
Yes, the crow was hanging around for awhile, happy to be part of the scenery. Thank you Helen.

Vivid and grand as always, and the second photograph encapsulates something universal.
Vivid and grand!, thanks so much Millie.
The last one is too much alive! Seems everything is on move….
Yes, the clouds were moving quickly. I’m glad that comes across in the image. Thank you for your comment.
The transition of colours is too beautiful!
Thank you Madhu, I’m glad you like them.
