By Degrees March 4, 2013June 28, 2013 | drawandshoot We are creeping ever so slowly out of winter and these pale robin’s egg blue tones seemed to have a little whisper of spring in them, (which I am craving today!). beautiful painterly reflections…
Thank you, Tom!
I can see it coming, Karen. The slight greenish tones of the top one and the blue of the bottom are hinting at it certainly. Thanks for posting these peaceful meditations.
Ever so slowly, Judy. Thanks for you comment, I like your description.
I love your view of life, just love it, reminds me to stop and look closer, much closer, more often….
I agree, that is just how I feel about these photos too.
This is very nice to hear, thank you.
Golds and blues, angles and curves, winter or spring, all beautiful.
Thank you, Elena.
They looks somewhat dancing —– or was it a reflection of your mind ?
From the air or your mind, it is coming. coming.
A dance of water and gentle breezes, Yoshizen.
Karen – love those tiny ice crystals like little shooting stars. We are on the way to spring degree by degree – wild swings of temp and weather – 68 today and gorgeous – 40 and a gale from the north tomorrow – ahhh spring in the Ozarks! Take care and enjoy your bluer skies – K
It is an up and down time of year, isn’t it? Enjoy the warmer days!
Karen, Marvelous way to the spring and the dreams that come with it.
Thanks you, Carlos!
Outstanding Karen, you are the master at this.
Oh thank you, Phil, that’s very kind. : )
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
Thanks very much, Steven!
Spring is arriving elegantly through your lens 🙂
Thank you, Marina. I’m finding it is challenging to make photographs at this time of year…
So ethereal and a beautiful reference to tone and the blue of a robin’s egg. Like your your longing intent, the ‘creeping’ towards spring. At my end, we see nature slowly ‘settling’ into autumn – intriguing this contrast of seasons.
Thank you, Liz. Yes it’s interesting watching the seasons shift in the opposite way. Enjoy your Autumn.
Absolutely beautiful Karen. I love those blue tones.
From the Mediterranean area i can indeed confirm that spring is well on its way. It’s still coldish in Italy, but there are already daisies in the fields…
It will be a little while before we see daisies. Enjoy the lovely weather!
magical scene…What a beautiful !!
Thanks very much!
The first one – I would like my wall covered in it. You really live in a different world.
Thank you, Michael. It is certainly different from the part of the world you are traveling at the moment.
Thank you, Allen!
The warmth in the golden tones of the reflections is heartwarming. Magical, indeed.
Thanks, Gabriel. Yes, the light is changing and thankfully, staying longer every day.
I’m always so happy to see your images – they express something I can’t put into words, and that’s a good thing!
That’s so lovely to hear. Thank you!
It’s not far off, I’m sure! Beautiful tones.
A little closer each day. : )
Thank you, Emily.
Spring is definitely there – that blue is a very welcome sight – I love seeing the seasons change through your lens.
Thank you, Richard!
Seeing your photos is always such a treat ! I adore your photography, you are awesome !
That is very sweet of you, Jocelyne. Merci!
Spring is definitely coming.. though I woke to a little layer of snow this morning here in the UK.. I was VERY surprised !
The colours of all three work so well together. I love the ethereal nature of your images, Karen.
