Moving under Trees

light-tree3
Moving under trees dressed for autumn – leaves at dusk lit by streetlight.

I think I’ll attempt this technique again as the composition (or something) in these images is lacking but I sort of dig this not-so-subtle colour combination.

Through the Raindrops

Looking through the windshield on a rainy afternoon …

I made some photographs outside of the car, too, but it was this view through  wavering raindrops that truly caught my eye.

Winter Nights

WinterNight1
WinterNight2They have only just begun, really. It was a few days ago that the snow finally decided to swing by and tuck in the plants and trees with a thick white blanket. I confess that I love it. What is more peaceful than a shrouded winter night? The snowflakes, relinquished from clouds, slipping by in whispers. Fresh snow for a fresh year.

Best wishes for this shiny new year
