Grey is the New White…

rain is the new snow and warm is the new cold. Truly is doesn’t feel like winter when it’s 10° Celsius and you can walk around without a hat or gloves. Not a trace of snow. December, is this really you? I realize it could all change quickly but winter has been moving in at a snail’s pace.

  1. Love this series. The red grass is really lovely against the yellow – what grass is that one with reddish hue? I am really enjoying the balmy weather as I am not a fan of the cold. As you mention the gloves and hat are my saviours during snow season! Thank you for sharing these.

  2. Love the contrast in colour that you’ve captured. For some white, come out west where the snow is now here to stay!

  3. Nice shots! The fences are awesome (one of my personal favourite subjects). tonal ranges are great and the perspectives very effective. Cheers!

  4. Hey Karen – Great photographs and it is just the same here – we were in Scotland a couple of days before Christmas and it was 12 degrees C! We have had no snow and it is warm and wet! Is this global warming starting to hit or is it just a phase of the Sun? Who knows?

    Take Care!
