I love how something as soft and ethereal as snow leaves edges. Mind-bending.
I know what you mean! I often think they are like frozen waves they way they are shaped.
As I said …you do make the most of this season!
I love the thin lines of grasses and plants lightly etched against the white background, forming intricate natural patterns. The first shot is particularly pleasing, and you make it look so deceptively easy!

I can’t improve upon the insightful comments above. I just have to agree.
The contrast of two forms of water also adds to the scenes. It makes one wonder how they can co-exist. Thanks again for sharing your work.

I am so jealous of your snow – we have had almost no winter to speak of this year. The shadows and curves and lines on these drifts are simply elegant!
Well I am happy to share some snow with you Lois. It does seem like winters are shifting, doesn’t it? We caught up on snow but we have not had our usual cold.
We are so used to having buckets of it in Chicago that we’re all having snow withdrawal this winter.
