Fading Magnolia Leaves
I’ve been collecting gracefully decaying leaves. It seems that magnolia leaves are ideal for this. They fade away slowly leaving behind a beautiful structure of veins. They photograph very nicely and today I was photographing them in the late afternoon with the sun streaming through the window. The tangle of leaf skeleton makes for amazing shadows. Fantastic idea, lovely shots!
Thank you Susan. 🙂
Nice shots
intriguing (~_~)
Beautiful. As you say in your post, the shadows that these delicate decaying leaves cast is captivating! Its a layered lacework! Nicely shot.
Thank you for all you kind words Distan.
I really like the shadows that the leaves throw Karen.
I like a drama you schemed, —– suddenly on the last moment, rather subdued but
strong enough Magnolia color finished the stage.
