Moving under Trees

Moving under trees dressed for autumn – leaves at dusk lit by streetlight.

I think I’ll attempt this technique again as the composition (or something) in these images is lacking but I sort of dig this not-so-subtle colour combination.

  1. Every once in a while..you can be a bit bold with the colours…they are there for a reason, especially this year. Lovely series, as always.

  2. I love this Karen. the red scarlets don’t seem, to be as brassy to my eyes at all with the soft and blurred edges diffusing the hue a bit. Very artistic and creative, Splendid! 🙂

  3. Such stunning colour contrast, so vibrant. For me the bold colours, along with the painterly quality make the images work well. In my opinion if more elements or something more predominant was captured in the images I think it would hinder rather than help the image. As it is I as a viewer have the freedom to make my own choices rather than being forced into a view. Great work!
