Such an exciting series this..delicate but powerful..some of these are like creatures..frosted maybe..there’s something of the winter about them..actually they’ve reminded me of your trees – are they unwrapped?!
Cath, I know what you mean about a hint of winter being in them, already I can feel the seasons shifting…
The trees were unwrapped in May when I was in Cape Breton, I should really go back and see how they are doing! π
Fascinating !
Just straight shot, no fancy lighting or technique yet you can
remove the distinction, whether they are in the water like a Jerry-fish
or floating in the space. This is far beyond a technique.
That upside-down one just sets me thinking of umbrellas, and I think it’s just a structural likeness thing, but now I’m smiling because I’m imagining a whole lot of umbrellas just flying away on the winds.

I’m really enjoying these recent photos of yours…especially the subtler ones, all very beautiful!
Thanks for saying so, I appreciate it!
You should really select some of these recent things you’ve been doing, print them huge, get them framed up, and put them in a gallery.
Thank you, James. That is a very nice comment.
