Fine set, Karen, I like shots from a speeding train; the 2nd is special for me.
For some reason I find the second shot of the towers very alluring and at the same time, ominous. I can’t stop looking at it!

Great photos, Karen. Shapes dissolving, melting away. Such haunting images. The middle one is my favourite: lonely ghosts in a post-apocalyptic world.
May I ask, has the middle image been retouched in any way? I would very much like to replicate the sense of desolation you have there in a music video I’m about to make. I really like this work.

The middle image has not been retouched, the ‘smudginess’ comes from tree branches in the foreground blurring through movement. Thanks very much for your interest, I’m glad you like them!
Interesting set, Karen…the second one is fascinating, but slightly spooky….and the last one is a nod to Rothko!

Wow, the one with the powerline towers is wonderful, I love it! While travelling, my eyes are always drawn to them, I love how they “walk” the landscape, I simply find them modern beauties, the jewellery of the landscape, if you like. Your photo gives them full justice!
