When I first looked at your photo, I thought it was embossed metal art, and then, when I realized it was Jack Frost’s elegant art work, WOW – I have’t seen frost on window panes since childhood. I can remember tracing Jack’s intricate designs with my finger, and wishing I could create art like him. Brought a smile to my face.
That is really beautiful!
Thank you! I’ve made a vast amount of window frost images over the years and I am still always charmed by the beauty and diversity of the formations.
We have double pane windows, and I miss frost. But not the heating bills. 🙂
When I grew up in Norway, this was a common sight on the windows in my childhood. How I miss it!! 🙂 ❤
Stunning image

So beautiful. Excellent work, Karen!
The three-dimensional quality of this image is wonderful. Its extraordinary what beauty can be created this way.
in french we called those ” Fleurs de gel”. A bouquet of frost for a valentine’s day !
Beautiful !
so intricate, so well ‘shot’. Love it.
I love how you see things, Karen….gorgeous….
Natural magic framed so elegantly. Fantastic!
The harsh becomes delicate in frost. You always capture it so splendidly! I love this stuff.
I thought it was jewelry at first. Beautifully captured. Artful nature, artful artist’s eye.
Amazing!!
Absolutely fantastic shots Karen ~ the intricacies you show here uncover the beauty of winter (and February especially).
