It wasn’t too difficult to photograph as it was (sadly) dead. At first I thought it was a piece of plastic on the ground but happily it turned out to be a jeweled dragonfly. Thanks, Emilio!
Beautiful, Karen. I love to see the first barely there signs of the seasons changing. Here it is a slight change in the aspens and oaks and the appearance of asters.
Talk about beautiful. like a fairy tale. I also love how you put the three images in a sequence of close-up, distance, and close-up creating a mysterious narrative.
Autumn and spring are wonderful seasons, the sense of gently closing down in one, and opening up in the other. The dragonfly wings are lovely, loaded down with moisture.
An astonishing concerto for sure!
Early morning light and a dewdrops, who could ask for more.
: ) Thanks, Elena.
Very nice capture on the dragonfly.

. . . it warms my heart . . . no, wait. Opposite that.
. . . but still a nice capture.

Brilliant lacy detail. I often forget about the delicacy Autumn brings with it.
I love the way you have turned ordinary “things” into diamonds and lace!
