I feel as though these branches are very much alive, though stoic and perhaps self-consciously looking into the mirror for signs of age or strife. Beautiful, of course.
Karen, these beautiful colours of yours take me back to when I first found your work at the beginning of the year.. It seems we have turned a full circle, I can’t quite believe it!
These are wonderful. I love the transformation of these plants into spectral presences. They’re positively anthropomorphic – feeling their way out of a milky murk.
Like these, Kare, especially the first one.
My favorite as well!
They are all so wonderfull nice. A lot of poetry there, Karen.
I love the 3D-ness of these images!
I can feel the cold coming through the screen! the images frozen in time and space.
1st one’s my favourite too 🙂
The last one – my favorite – looks like there are tiny stars in the water. So lovely, Karen!

I’d buy a box of these for Christmas cards if I could find them in the store…. So pretty, Karen…and winter-rich….
I agree. They’d make beautiful cards.
The first photo is just perfect! A sketch, a painting, reflections, story book. This is what i thought as I looked at it!
I really like that first one. Perfect composition, and, although I know it’s water, the little dots remind me of stars peppering the sky. Lovely!
Just simply beautiful Karen.
Liking the reflections in these images. Thanks for sharing.
The ice is on its way – snow and ice has started to appear here too! Wonderful photos, Karen.
love 1 & 2 – 1 is kind of an optical illusion
