Yay! So glad there is more! Stunning work again, Karen! The first one is my favorite also. Such a fleeting and delicate moment. looks like the silhouette of a palm tree. I love how beautifully and intimate you capture these seedlings; isolated and unique view points that most of us wouldn’t even notice. Bravo 🙂
I rather wish you had posted each of these separately Karen as each one is uniquely beautiful and deserves to be showcased. I love the way there is just a little detail in some of them,… The 2nd image draws me in with the little “hook” I love that. The penultimate one is so clever.. the little droplet like a light shining.. gorgeous
Thank you for your nice comment, Helen.
I think it’s tricky to curate your own work sometimes but I do spend a good long time trying to figure it all out. (You can click on them to see larger individual images bit I realize that takes time!)
What a subtle but exquisite images !
I’m glad you think that, Yoshizen. Thank you.
Beautiful!
Thank you, Karen.
Karen, I must confess to loving all of them! They are one more brilliant that the next.
Such a wonderful comment, Elena. Thanks very much.
Karen! You are just so incredible! Thank you for all your lovely posts and photos, they make caring for nature so worth it!!
Thank you! I’m happy you feel that way, nature is very inspiring!
Yes! That first image is something else! They’re all great, but that one is majestic.
Majestic. Thank you, Richard!
Sigh and silence
Is that you sighing also?
Yes, i only could sigh when i saw your pictures
Beautiful – as always. But the focus does make me want to adjust my glasses – still learning to use these darn tri-focals! lol – K
Ha! They make tri-focals?! That sounds a bit unwieldy, Kathleen.
It’s not just you, the first ones a bit wonky! 🙂
really poetic and inspiring!
Thanks so much!
Wonderful. First one definitely, also I love the penultimate image – what is it?
Karl, I’m not sure what that little flower looked like before it went to seed so I can’t say what they are. Something from the forest floor…
The first one is really funny, Karen, and wonderful of course, like they all are.
Maybe a bit like a bad hair day, Bente. Thanks for your kind comment.
Oh, I love these and the first one is truly fabulous – I love looking at it in isolation because then the lack of scale makes it really intriguing.
Thanks, Christian. Yes it could read different ways I think, which makes it kind of fun.
🙂

Polly, thank you. It’s really interesting looking at things with a macro lens. You often find the unexpected! 🙂
Love them all, and especially the first. Wonderful images.
Thank you kindly, Ephem. I am having a bit of fun with the macro shots these days.
Beautiful!
Thank you, Vasare!
Superb series of photos Karen. Particularly like the last one, so delicate.
Thanks, David. I love those little delicate seed heads, I think I’ve taken a million pictures of them now!
Oh please don’t talk about the flying seasons … 😦 The first one looks like a high fashion model, haute couture model 🙂
Seasons? What seasons?!
I love your interpretation, Gigi! 🙂
…speechless, once more!
Thank you.
Merveilleuses photos.
Merci, David!
They are all gorgeous with those soft color tones and subtle details. 🙂
Thank you very much, Inga. 🙂

Wow! Loving the vintage range of tones in these. Iv seen allot of macro imagery but none like these, in that I feel inspired to try myself. Good work!
Thanks very much, I’m glad you think they are unique and inspiring.
great shots
Thank you!
Yet again a exquisite series! Wonderful photos, Karen! And yet again I could not nominate one favorite as I love them all.
each one lovelier than the last! I could look at these for a long while!
That’s a nice comment, Emily. Thanks very much.
The first and the last are better than an aquarel! Delicate colors, emotions, dreamy look.
robert
Thank you, Robert! I haven’t looked at these in a long time, I still like them. : )
the dandelion heads – so architectural …
