In my mind I am here, on the breakwater. The lonesome sound of seagulls overhead, thick fog and the early promise of a warm day. Shades of grey enveloping me like an old friend. A thermos of coffee beside me and ancient boulders beneath. Connected.

Beautiful images – full of mystery. They’re like paintings, only ones created with a camera.
I like your interpretation, thank you so much.
Wonderful! I love the light. It seems like a landscape from another planet!
Thank you.
nice narrative, Karen!
Thanks Carla!
Otherworldly pristine beauty. They are all stronger for the series yet perfect individually. Stirring, detached, reserved and inviting. A genesis of opposites–art.
Oh, thank you so much Elena, A much appreciated analysis! =)
definitely otherworldy and such beautiful poetic words karen..
Helen , thank you. =)
I’m seeing warmth creep into your photos, so gradually. I like how your connection is unhurried.
Thank you Scilla, the seasons are changing much faster than usual, I’m not adapting quite so quickly!
These are so powerful, Karen! You capture the hidden beauty every time.
Thank you Lois, I’m happy you find them powerful!
These are overwhelmingly powerful [just looked up an saw that Lois used the same word!] – indeed they are. I hope you will have a chance to have prints of them up on wall with loads of space around them!
Christian, such very kind words. Thank you so much, I’m picturing them as you suggest! =)
Simplicity pays off again. As it does being out there. Simply beautiful… My personal favorite, is the third one.
Thank you, yes, I am drawn minimalism also.
No 1 for me – into the distance; wonderful.
David.
Thanks David.
marvelous and professional as always
Antonio, I appreciate that, thank you.
These are getting better and better! It’s almost as if you are in a plane, flying over, looking down..wonderful sense of wild space..
Thank you Cath! 🙂
I don’t think you could ask for better company with such a view…the coffee and the boulders. Inviting….
This is true Scott, good company for sure…
I love these Karen- yes they do look like paintings. Beautiful.
Jess, thank you.
I’m thinking they might inspire some paintings…
I really like that last one, and your words. Nice 🙂
Thanks 🙂
These shots had an eerie quality to them… greatly enjoyed their haunting beauty.
I’m happy you enjoy them, thank you!
Two qualities, photography and words, I congratulate you on your art, one day I knew your blog and I can always see lot of nice things.
Kind words as always, thank you!
You are in the groove! Pure flow!
Yes, I think so, pure intuition. I love that feeling!
Thank you Steve.

Thank you James.
Karen, may I describe these as majestic? Magnificent shots of seemingly neverending scapes. Wonderful words to match the powerful images. (Otherworldy again too 😉 )
Majestic is nice! Thank you Marina, for your always generous comments.
Some of these almost look like earth from space!
Thank you, I like that you think that! 🙂
these are stunning, minimal yet full of detail!
Thank you very much Lisa.
