Spidery September Orchids

Doesn't this kind of look like a spider getting ready to snatch up it's prey?


This lovely spider orchid is in bloom at our house right now. I love these exotic flowers with their elegant long petals and multiple blooms.

  1. I never seen this orchid. As I used to take picture of the plants and their botanical
    specimen in the Harbarium of my Uni’, yet this is the first encounter.
    I wonder, where this species originated from ?
    To show the colorful enough orchid in B/W is, where the psyche of Karen is. 🙂
