I like the golden tones in the opening images. Looks cold though; winter must be settling in up there. I like the way you find images in the reflections too.
These shots are beautiful – they just seem to capture the essence of autumn. Another thing I like especially about them is that when I flipped my laptop uspide down to see them ‘right way up’, they didn’t look at all right. I like that you just have to take them as they are, and I love the colours! Nice and warm.
Beautiful colors in the reflections. A mat, a frame and a prominent place on the wall is what they are all begging for and justly so. They would be stunning on the wall.
Whoa. The top on is my favorite of this bunch. It has a certain kinetic balance that is especially appealing. At a glance, it seemed like a digitally-mainipulated image, though on further inspection, you discover that nature beat Photoshop to the punch… again!
These too are very nice – the soft focus is almost like reflections on thin ice.
The colour tones are so reminiscent of something, especially in the first and middle ones, I am not sure which something though (and not my cat, though that too).
Really lovely! I’m working on a collaborative drawing-installation project just now that’s based in these delicious skeletal forms, so I find myself sinking into these images completely … absolutely adore bare trees, and how much individual personality they each have.
¡Fantásticos reflejos!
Gracias, Manoli.
perfectly moody!
The light was kind of nice…
Thanks, Mimo.
Sharp, fuzzy image. I like it. 🙂
Very clever, Yoshizen! Thank you. =)
really beautiful !!!
Yhnak you, Isabella! =)
Pastel and charcoal. Exceptional as always.
It is a bit like that isn’t it? I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks you, Elena!

Is it dry where you are, Nathan?
Thank you.
What a talent Karen…
Much thanks, Marija – as are you! =)

Nick, it was beautiful today but the cold is inching it’s way here. There is a suggestion of snow in the next week…
Thank you.

Also, the first and third ones, I’m just loving the Impressionist vibe!
Thanks, Trish. Reflections seem to have endless possibilities depending on the light, water movement etc..
Very nice. Like paintings. Water – color. )))))
Yes, water colour for real! Thank you, I’m glad you like these.
These are gorgeous. I especially love the second one, that gold sheen is amazing. Thank you for the post.
Yes, I was lucky – the light was a lovely golden colour for just a few minutes. Thanks for your kind words, Elizabeth.

Thank you, Shez. I guess I really should hang something on my walls soon! =)
Or at my house, when you run out of space. 😉
I spend a lot of time looking at and photographing lakeside reflections. Love these images Karen, especially that third one.
Reflections seem to have endless possibilities, don’t they?
Thanks very much, Ray.
I love these reflections Karen. Beautiful colours.
I was fortunate with the light and all the pastel leaf colours – subtle but interesting, I think. Thanks, Adrian.
“easy like Sunday Morning” beautiful gentle tones, Karen.. the 2nd one – The Princess of the Lake ..
A very nice comment, Helen! Thank you.
All lovely, Karen, but i find the geometries in the final shot captivating. I hope your mother doesn’t tire of reflections too soon 😉
Well, I’ll just go with the flow… 😉
Thanks very much, Alessandro!
Nice work with reflections Karen.
They almost already look like an impressionist work 😉
Thanks you, Tahir. Much appreciated.
I was going to say like charcoal and pastel …and then I saw Elena’s comment!
Beautiful “paintings” -as always, Karen!
🙂
That is interesting you had the same thought! =)
Much thanks, Marina.

your works are fantasy worlds
Thank you, Emma. An interesting comment.
So beautiful! An upside-down tree in water! Golly you have an eye, dear Karen! 🙂
Gigi, thank you! Upside-down is often my specialty! 😉
These are really great photos. The hint of colors here and there is so wonderful. 🙂
A little autumn gold… Thanks, Nandini!

I suppose, very soon it will be thin ice!
🙂 Thank you, Ephem.

Tress do have incredibly personalities when they are stripped down, don’t they?
Thanks so much, Sydney. I look forward to your tree project!
absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you, Nareen.
