These are lovely, Karen. Capturing motion is a challenge and you did it right.
On a side note, I don’t know how I unfollowed your posts. When you liked my recent post I suddenly was aware that I had not seen yours in a while. I am now following you again. Sorry I missed so many.
Swallows of any kind are incredibly difficult to capture. These are spectacular.
Oh, I love these, Karen. This style is your signature and you make the images sing.
Lovely pics. I love this time of year, the swallows are back too chattering on the telegraph wire outside my window.
Oh yes, well done, some feat to ‘shoot’ these tiny birds.
quel plaisir de retrouver tes images d’oiseaux..merci !!!
The last image is breathtaking….I appreciate the way you honor birds by showing their being-in-flight….no static, sterile bird photos here! 🙂

Thank you, Steve! I have been sporadically posting and viewing. I don’t think you’ve missed much! : )
I love the way you frame the flying birds. Seems very intuitive and yet so complete. This time around I guess they are on their way back south.
Really amazing and beautiful series. I like how the birds are in focus, yet still seem to move.
Such life and mystery in each shot ~ beautifully captured, Karen.
I really love the one cut off top left.. It adds such interest Karen. Bravo!
Moments so precise.
I just adore these shots… !
