Hi Karen, I see we both saw frost feathers in Steve Gingold’s post yesterday! My comment was from a song I wrote some 31 years ago, for the passing of a beloved dog:
Now the feather flowers of frost unfold and stretch their long and icy fingers across my window pane
And I walk November’s frozen fields and listen for her steps to come and find me and I call her name
This has to be among the most fantastic frost displays I’ve ever seen. Escheresque and truly inspirational.
